Mainland China Guizhou Normal University Summer Camp

I. Activity Dates June 25th to July 4th, 2024 (may be adjusted slightly later)

III. Activity Theme Experience the charm of ethnic culture and explore new development opportunities.

V. Cost Participants only need to bear the expenses for airfare, local personal travel expenses, and insurance. (Accommodation and other expenses will be covered by the sister school.)

VI. Eligibility Open to students from Taiwan (Please note the schedule for obtaining Taiwan Compatriot Travel Documents.)

Details and Itinerary:

Day 1: Full-day airport pickup, check-in procedures, distribution of camp uniforms, and activity handbooks.

Day 2: Morning: Campus tour, participation in the opening ceremony; Afternoon: Learn about Chinese traditional culture - Course 1: "Guizhou Nature and Culture," Course 2: "Calligraphy," participate in youth student exchange and fellowship activities.

Day 3: Morning: Visit the Long March Digital Technology Art Museum - Hongpiaodai; Afternoon: Visit the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Experimental Zone Exhibition Center.

Day 4: Morning: Learn Course 1: "Guizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage," Course 2: "Guizhou Roads and Bridges"; Afternoon: Learn Chinese traditional culture course "Martial Arts."

Day 5: Morning: Visit Tianlong Tunbao, understand the Tunbao culture, watch Nuo Opera performances; Afternoon: Tour the main landscape of Huangguoshu Waterfall, Steep Slope Pond Waterfall.

Day 6: Morning: Visit the Guizhou Provincial Dam River Bridge Museum; Afternoon: Participate in hands-on practical activities - Intangible cultural heritage exploration, ingenuity inheritance.

Day 7: Morning: Visit the Malin River Grand Canyon; Afternoon: Visit the Wanfenglin Scenic Area.

Day 8: Morning: Attend innovation and entrepreneurship seminars (1. Clever application of mixed reality; 2. Practical application of Python in multiple disciplines); Afternoon: Participate in the RoboMasters simulated competition.

Day 9: Morning: Attend closing ceremony; Afternoon: Tour Jiaxiu Tower + Caozhuangyuan Street.

Day 10: Organize return journey, bid farewell to Taiwanese students and teachers.
