2. For students from LiU’s partners, the LiU Summer Academy is tuition-free.
3. To meet the general entry requirements, students must have completed one year of full-time studies upon application (passed 60 ECTS credits or equivalent) and be nominated by one of LiU’s partner universities.
4. Nominated students must have a good command of English (writing, reading, listening and speaking at a recommended CEFR level B2).

A good standard of English is required to become an exchange student at the University of Southern Denmark as teaching typically involves student participation, class discussion, project work, and student presentations. This means that you must have a command of the English language equivalent of the IELTS score 6.5 or the TOEFL score 88.

   The Program Fee includes room & board (3 meals per day at AIU), bedding, room cleaning, and field trips.
   In addition to the Program Fee, students must pay for travel expenses from their point of origin to Akita, lunch during the bus trip (one trip only), personal and daily expenses and insurance.

   -We ask all participants to take the overseas travel insurance designated by Kanagawa University.
   -The insurance covers from the day before the program until the Sunday after the program ends.
