We collaborate with Yuan Ze University and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to integrate education and research resources to cultivate forward-thinking professionals in biomedical science and to meet the overall development goals of the national intelligent healthcare industry. With a core focus on "Innovative Smart Healthcare," we incorporate courses that combine clinical applications with cutting-edge disciplines such as cell biotechnology, artificial intelligence, medical engineering, and neuroscience. Our innovative design courses aim to foster the interdisciplinary talents required by the next generation of healthcare, contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality and innovative healthcare development.

To cultivate interdisciplinary research talents in medicine, with a focus on medical research, we aim to develop the following emerging healthcare application areas, known as C.L.A.P:

  1. Cell therapy and Regeneration
This involves integrating knowledge from basic medicine, clinical medicine, immunology, and cell engineering to apply them in clinical cell therapy and tissue organ regeneration.
  2. Longevity, Cognition, and Telemedicine
This area utilizes knowledge from neuroscience, digital detection, information transmission, mechanical engineering, and nursing theories to develop the necessary hardware and software for elderly care and telemedicine.
  3. Artificial Intelligence and Engineering
This field applies new technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to medical data recognition and analysis, enabling risk prediction and assisting in clinical diagnosis.
  4. Precision Medicine
Precision medicine aims to develop individualized pharmacological strategies based on molecular biology, clinical pathology, and big data analysis. Medical engineering methods are also employed to enhance medical treatments' accuracy.

  1. Cultivate medical research talents with multidisciplinary C.L.A.P. skills.
  2. Incorporating medicine, engineering, and clinical medicine concepts to practice basic medicine and clinical medicine.
  3. Support the development of the national regenerative, smart, and precision medicine industries.
  1. Regenerative medicine for the small intestine
  2. Neuroscience and Social cognition
  3. Neuroimaging and Neural Computing in Clinical Practice
  4. Precision medicine and immunotherapy
