Universitas Tarumanagara UNTAR Visits to Deepen Bilateral Academic Cooperation and Exchanges

The Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara; UNTAR, the Head of Cooperations and International Relations Office, and 5 other delegates visited Yuan Ze University on Jan 11. Vice President Tze Chi Hsu, Chief of Global Affairs Yu Chiang Liang, and Vice Chief of Global Affairs Ting Lie received the delegation. Founded in 1959, UNTAR has more than 14,000 students and is one of the earliest private universities in Indonesia.

In 2020, YZU signed an exchange student contract with UNTAR. However, due to the epidemic situation, cooperation has been suspended. UNTAR wishes to gain more insight into YZU's campus, teaching platform, and tutoring quality and facilitate double-degree collaboration, teacher exchange, and co-teaching courses in the future.

Huang, an alumnus of both UNTAR and YZU, attended the meeting. Huang studied at YZU for a master's degree after graduating from UNTAR with his bachelor's degree. He worked at Ruijian Medical (Switzerland) foreign-invested enterprises after graduating from YZU. Huang performed well in the master's class of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at YZU. He has a promising future in Taiwan and left a deep impression on the distinguished guests of his alma mater.

As part of their campus tour, the delegation visited the multi-field intelligent human-computer interaction demonstration classrooms of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, library, and Global Hub, which reflect YZU's dedication to student care, academic strength, and life guidance. UNTAR rector expressed his admiration for YZU's dedication to student care and academics at all levels, and he looks forward to more practical exchanges in the future.
