繁 Yuan Ze University alumni are spread across the globe, and its international learning environment attracts many foreign students to study in Taiwan.
To maintain overseas alumni relations and embody the spirit of unity and mutual support among Yuan Ze members, Yuan Ze University established the "Yuan Ze University Indonesian Alumni Association" in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 1, 2024. President Qingrong Liao, Director of International Affairs Yun-Jia Liang, and alumni gathered for the occasion. The alumni elected Arya Ondrio, an alumnus of the College of Management currently working at L'Oréal Indonesia, as president, and Twin Yoshua Rahajo, an alumnus of the Department of Business Administration teaching at Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta (UAJY), as vice president.
President Ching-Jong Liao stated that alumni are important assets to the university. Since his tenure as president, he has successively established the General Alumni Association, regional alumni associations in Taiwan, and overseas alumni associations, including those in mainland China and Hong Kong. Indonesia ranks as the second-largest source of international students at Yuan Ze University, with many degree students, exchange students, dual-degree students, and interns coming to study. Notably, Yuan Ze University recently established a cooperation center with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI), with one key function being to serve as the base for the Yuan Ze Indonesian Alumni Association. This initiative aims to strengthen interactions among Indonesian alumni and foster unity and mutual support to enhance their competitiveness in the workplace.
