Holi at YZU: Last Saturday, on March 23, amidst our YZU 35th anniversary ceremony, students from across the globe united to celebrate Holi. Amidst a riot of colors, students engaged in cultural experiences like hand painting and savored delectable Indian cuisine. The festivities also featured mesmerizing Indian dance performances.
Traditional vs. Taipei: Alex reminisces about his Holi celebrations in India, marked by bonfires in the evening and playful splashes of colors, balloons, and water guns. Comparatively, in Taipei, the festivities centered around water and color, yet the joyous spirit remains the same.
Despite the differences in traditions, Alex shares how the Holi celebration in Taipei was an exhilarating experience, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and vibrant hues.
