Being selected as an awardee of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards for Vocational Students (IISMAVO) at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

I began my educational journey in Taiwan after I was selected as a recipient of the 2018 Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Scholarship. When I arrived here in August of that year, I had every intention to make the most of all opportunities on route to achieving my undergraduate degree.

For me, a girl coming from Peru, studying in Taiwan is undoubtedly privileged and sometimes it still feels like a dream. 

I continue my study here in Taiwan because Taiwan is an educational destination for students worldwide, including Indonesia. 

As a way of caring for freshmen arriving in Taiwan for the first time and still missing their families and friends during the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, Yuan Ze University's Global Affairs Office sent out 80 Mid-Autumn Festival gift bags on 9/14.

Yuan Ze University accelerated its pace of international cooperation by signing an academic cooperation agreement with Ariel University (Israel) on Thursday, August 18th, 2022. In the ceremony, the two signing parties and the representatives of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Tel Aviv gave their opening remarks.
