I chose YZU because I wanted a diverse cultural experience but, at the same time, an English-based program (I don't speak Chinese :( haha)
Beh Chew Nam, President of the Malaysian Education and Cultural Association, led more than 30 principals to visit YZU and was greeted by Ching-Jong Liao, President of Yuan Ze University, Yun-Chia Liang, Chief of Global Affairs Office, and Chih-Yang Lin, Dean of International Academy.
I chose YZU for the diversity of clubs proposed by the university: Mountain-climbing, Photography, Guitar... ( too many to mention all of them).
The Department of Social and Policy Sciences of YZU invited Assistant Professor Lili Chen of the Department of Political Science and UNESCO Researcher of the National University of Timor-Leste (Universidade Nacional de Timor-Leste) to give six online lectures as part of a cooperative program.
I like Asian culture, first of all, and Taiwan also provides high-quality education.
Prof. Hsiao-Chun Wu of the University of Louisiana was specially invited by Prof. Shi-Hao Fang of YZU to give three speeches this year for the students of YZU.
Studying at YZU has not neem easy. I was faced with the difficult task of maintaining the first position in my department because I would lose my scholarship if I did not.
